While I was Reading the book....
Before I read this book, I heard good reviews about this book and that it was and interesting book and very surprising. So when I was reading this book it started out very interesting and surprising, about who the people were involved and what happened with Clay Jensen. After reading about why Clay Jensen was in the tapes I was really upset because I thought it would be more interesting but it wasn't. After that, I read the rest of the book and it got more boring to me because it didn't have much excitement in it and it felt like things kept being repetitive and not much surprises showed up. So I stopped reading it, until I started it up again and where I ended it was boring but I kept reading and near the end of the book it got more exciting and more suspenseful because I found out what was on tape 13 and who else was involved with her tapes, that made things very interesting. When I was reading the book it made me feel concerned for Hannah Baker but also very mad because she should've never done that. She also had no reason to send those tapes to those people because that is just not right. I also felt bad for Clay for being involved with it because he didn't deserve it. Clay barely knew Hannah Baker and the whole reason why he was in those tapes was pointless for him to know why. Also another person that made me mad was Mr. Porter because he didn't convince Hannah not to commit suicide and he wasn't really helping her in the end. This whole book made me think that life is important and you shouldn't waste it. Also that when you're in a difficult situation you should tell someone that you can trust and just let out how you feel to them and to not just give up if things are getting hard to you. Another thing I learned from this book is that you need to choose your friends wisely and to know who will be there for you and who will care for you in any situation.
If other people read this book I think they would think about what and why Hannah did this and how she felt too. Also that this book was a sensitive topic and that the readers need to be very respectful. |
